What we see in the Scriptures, however, reveals that expectation to be off the mark. In fact, Jesus said that students are not greater than their masters and if the master is persecuted the student should expect the same. In Acts chapter 8 we see the fulfillment of a command made years earlier in Acts chapter 1, but this fulfillment required an unexpected plot-twist.”
