Join us as we begin the last book of The Book of Mormon. Moroni had not expected to write anything else down after abridging The Book of Ether, but The Lord had other plans. He writes down instructions for members of the church as it pertains to ordinances such as baptism, sacrament, confirmation, and the priesthood. He explains the law of witnesses as it pertains to accepting member of the church. He talks about the significance of meeting with each other often and discussing the "welfare of our souls".
Moroni just might have written the first handbook of the church.
These chapters are extremely significant as we see foundation of The Lord's church operates very similarly today as it did centuries ago especially when it comes to ordinances. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
