Join us as we discuss the Book of Mormon flashbacks. Zeniff and a group of his people set off to find the land of Lehi-Nephi expecting to go to war with the Lamanites only to turn on each other. Upon returning to Zarahemla after a bloody inner battle, Zeniff puts another group together in hopes of occupying the land of his fathers. Zeniff reaches an agreement with King Laman of the Lamanites and obtains possession of the land only to become subjects unto the Lamanites and heavily taxed over the years. From Zeniff, to Noah, to Limhi and 79 years after they originally left, King Mosiah II sends Ammon and a group of people to find Zeniff's people hoping they are still alive. Ammon finds them and explains to King Limhi who they. King Limhi is excited and relieved to have been found by his brethren in hopes that they will be freed from the bondage of the Lamanites. Ammon recounts the history of the last 79 years and teaches the people of king Limhi the words of King Benjamin. Ammon the explorer takes the opportunity to be a missionary as well.
