Going barefoot, climbing trees and caring for animals in Hawaii was part of every day life for a young Maggie Q. She never thought her idyllic, simple life would turn into one that eventually led her to Hollywood where she would become an A-list star with roles in blockbusters films including “Mission Impossible 3” with Tom Cruise. But to this day, Maggie’s true passions are her love of animals and the environment. She uses her influence to bring attention to these issues by not just talking the talk, but walking the walk as an animal activist and eco-conscious entrepreneur. May and Maggie first met 13 years ago in Singapore. May had had her own talk show and Maggie was promoting “Live Free or Die Hard”. They hadn’t seen each since, but in this interview they connected as if no time had passed and had an incredibly meaningful, deep and, at times, hilarious conversation.
