In this episode, Sylvia speaks about the stories and circumstances that brought about the conception of her daughter, now eight years old. Sylvia openly shares her struggles in overcoming domestic abuse and alcohol addiction. These were long, challenging paths to walk but she continues to put one foot in front of the other in order to show up for her daughter and provide a safe and healthy life for them. Her strength is authentic, her honesty is so needed. Resilience is an unfolding, a constant act of courage. It does not require perfection.
