Join me today as I talk about the importance of taking a mental break. Yes, even with all of my tools and self-love practices, I can still get overwhelmed and stressed out. When that happens, I have to just unplug from everything. Take a walk, focus on my breath, and just be for a time.
It can be challenging to slow down if you've been go-go-go for a long time, but like with everything else, with practice it gets easier.
If your mind is overwhelmed or stressed for too long, it starts to suffer. You won't be as good at remembering something, or absorbing new information - basically, you aren't you anymore.
So take that break. You mind, soul, and body, will thank you.
