Just as an open wound can never heal unless it is properly stitched up, a broken relationship cannot be restored unless there is closure. Closure isn't just in romantic relationships but is in the loss of someone and unforeseen tragedies. It's the act of engaging in resolution or resolve no matter how painful. Too often do we refuse to initiate closure, unaware of the damage that this can cause. When we are unwilling to initiate the closure we want or deserve, we limit our closeness with God and those we do life with. As we see in the story of Joseph, we witness the most divine version of closure as he draws his brothers close to forgive them because of the wisdom that there was a higher purpose to their betrayal. Join us as Pastor Jules continues the FMLY series and talks about the reasons why we wait for others to initiate closure instead of being the mature one to pursue it, as well as the different levels of trust a restored relationship can achieve.
