When Jesus returned to his hometown as the Messiah, the people were too familiar with him and saw only his past. This kept them from coming to Jesus and seeing him for who he truly was. They missed out. God is calling you to go back to your spiritual hometown-- not to relive the pain and trauma, but as those redeemed and made new, to bring light and hope and to expose the love of Christ to the hurting. Don't allow others' unbelief to hinder your belief. Don't hide and rob people of hope and let them keep thinking they know Jesus when really, they are waiting to meet him.
