In this episode, we spend time with one of Emerge Counseling’s finest clinicians to discuss her vast knowledge of grief work and her history of working with individuals and families who have been affected by suicide.
Maribeth Lieberth, MA, LPCC, shares her heart and passion that she has for working with clients and family members who are dealing with grief. Through our conversation, Maribeth reveals key insights regarding the markers we need to be looking for to better identify someone grappling with suicidal thoughts and/or plans. She also discusses some of the hardships for families who have lost someone to suicide. Although suicide prevention awareness month comes to an end, it is imperative this conversation does not.
