On an irregular basis we invite guests to liven up the party. This week, longtime friend, Gene Reineman, exited the Wayback Machine to join Team Dave. The conversational stroll down memory lane with this former youth pastor and camp director was a lovely wit-fest, and we agreed that our younger, mullet-haired selves were largely unaware of the difficult times to come. Finally, we demanded that our guest justify the name he bestowed on his daughter. Too many people skate through life without being held accountable. Not on our watch.
