Dr Dave blames himself for this one; he knows better. There's actually research about taking a minute to turn on our brain's "joy switch" before tasking it with creative demands like…well…providing an entertaining podcast. But right from the jump his urgent demeanor subdued his funny pod-ner, steering the conversation into highbrow matters of importance. (Except for that unfortunate reference where Dr Dave called his buddy Mike Higgs a "trans-Pentecostal"…). Oh, well. Maybe we shouldn't apologize; this episode offered helpful insights. It just wasn't our normal raucous fun-fest, in spite of what David promised potential new listeners last week.
