In today's episode I go beyond the cognitive dissonance (inconsistent beliefs) of alcohol that keep your mind in the daily mental friction, to drink or not to drink.
Beyond the habit of alcohol, the learned behavior, lives a deep need for self acceptance.
If you turn it into a LOVE/LOVE relationship, it cancels it's self out.
You give yourself permission to be WHOLE.
To be authentically YOU.
To change your mind.
The resistance to change your mind about alcohol, is your resistance to accept that alcohol is not the solution.
You can not find happiness outside of your self, anywhere.
However, you can strive for wholeness, and that can create the sense of Fulfillment, and satisfaction.
I am my WHOLE true self.
This is a statement alcohol inhibits you from making and thus creating the love/hate relationship.
What can happen to your beliefs and desires around alcohol when you strive for WHOLENESS vs. HAPPINESS?
