When the Church was established and began to grow, in the great numbers the Lord added to the Church came from a number of backgrounds and cultures. There was a lot of diversity. Yet the Apostles guided by the Spirit in leadership had to work with some problems that arose. There was a solution that kept unity in the Church. We too today need to listen to our leadership guided by the Word of God and not let diversity become a reason for division. But let it become a reason for unity. You too can become a part of the family in God!
