After missing Friday’s episode for a very good reason, I’m back in the driver’s seat.

Today I share an update on the medical procedure I had to hopefully solve years of breathing issues, constant fatigue, and poor sleep. It’s still early in the recovery process, but I’m already noticing a difference and I’m optimistic about what’s ahead.

At the same time, this is the beginning of my final week at the company where I’ve spent nearly 30 years of my career. The boxes are packed, the goodbyes have started, and tomorrow will be my final commute.

It’s amazing how quickly three decades can pass. Looking back, this job has been there through buying a house, getting married, raising kids, hurricanes, promotions, friendships, losses, and countless memories.

This episode is about recovery, reflection, and preparing for the next chapter.

Topics include:
 • Recovery after my ENT procedure
 • Hoping to regain energy and better sleep
 • My final days after a 30-year career
 • Looking back on everything that’s happened along the way
 • The future of Carpooling with Paul

Thanks for taking the ride with me.
