Jesus, the eternal Son of God, left the glory of Heaven to put on flesh and step into the world he had created. What could cause him to put off his glory and to put on humanity in all our frailty and finiteness? To answer that question, we must go back to the beginning. By looking to the book of Genesis, we'll see that Jesus, as the Son of Adam, came to defeat the Devil and destroy the powers of darkness.
