Killeen, Texas was well represented here. Both Eliano and Hardge are proud products of Ellison High School. And, both were big time names in Ellison High School athletics history.
Eliano is a part of a long list of successful football coaches who have ties to SFA Football
After an impressive career as a defensive back at SFA, Eliano began his college football coaching career.
From SFA, to Central Arkansas, to Sam Houston, back to Central Arkansas, helped launch the program at UTSA, then to Bowling Green, moved to New Mexico, and the past two seasons at Cincinnati under head coach, Luke Fickell.
During the Man Cave story, Perry told a couple of hilarious stories dating back to his days as an SFA Lumberjack. One of which involving then defensive coordinator, Gene Chizik.
