McComas is a long time baseball journalist who decided to take that route after hanging up the playing career.
He transferred to Texas and covered UT baseball as a student and made himself available for multiple opportunities covering all sports on multiple platforms and eventually as a beat writer for Orangebloods.com
Post graduation from UT, McComas had a stint as a baseball scout and recently partnered with former Texas Baseball director of operations, Drew Bishop and launched a business with multiple platforms called, Five Tool Baseball.
