Special episode with Rouse Raiders Football head football coach, Joshua Mann
The biannual University Interscholastic League (governing body of Texas high school athletics and extracurricular competitions) district realignments were released Thursday morning.
These are determined by enrollment numbers submitted by each high school in Texas. The UIL has the unenviable task of mapping out districts with similar enrollment while attempting to prevent long distances for district opponents.
Mann, who has been the head football coach and athletics director at Rouse since 2008, will experience a new district with new destinations.
The Raiders will compete in district 11-5A, division2, in football only. A district comprised of: Belton, Elgin, Killeen Chaparral (1st varsity season), Pflugerville, Pflugerville Connally, and Waco University.
