Nobody gets excited about lukewarm. Not lukewarm coffee, not lukewarm food, and definitely not lukewarm faith.
God makes it plain in Revelation 3:16: “So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth.” That’s not just Bible poetry—that’s a divine warning.
Lukewarm faith is faith that drifts with the tide. It just goes along with what’s trending, what’s popular, what keeps the crowd happy. Lukewarm faith bows to political agendas because it trusts man's provisions over God’s.
Lukewarm faith is more concerned about what people think than what God knows. It’s that Sunday-only, Instagram-filter faith—loud in public but no quiet time in the presence of God.
But when your faith is hot? You can change atmospheres and challenge division, and fixate on unity.
