Throughout my school years, I was bullied pretty badly.
That bullying kept me thinking that the world was out to get me and all I ever wanted to do was just fit in.
Little did I know then, it was never about fitting in but, instead about standing out.
That bullying helped me get mentally tough and taught me some valuable lessons that I now take with me everywhere I go.
For example, the only person who can make you happy is you. This is so important for those struggling with depression to realize. It isn't about what is going on in the world or in your peer group but, what is going on inside. You need to dig deep to find your inner passion and show the world that you aren't ready to give in.
"it isn't about what the world can do for you, but what you can do for the world"
Everything I write and say, is true and comes from the heart. I hope that this someday will inspire someone else not to give up and keep pushing themselves to be the best version of themselves.
