Jairus’s daughter’s story is told by Matthew, Mark, and Luke. They each tell us that Jairus, a ruler of the synagogue, approached Jesus and begged for healing for his dying young daughter. He said He knew that if Jesus would just lay His hands on her, she would be healed and live. So Jesus followed him to his home.
