The third sermon in our series "The Gift" focuses on the gift of myrrh, and how it symbolizes the sacrifice that Jesus was sent to Earth to become on our behalf. Jesus lived the perfect life then became the perfect sacrifice so that we could be saved. Although it may be the least commonly understood gift from the story of Jesus's birth, it may be the most important of the three we have learned about so far. Put simply: without Jesus's sacrifice, none of us would have the gift of salvation.
