Description

Resolutions and goals can be fun ... but for highly sensitive and neurodivergent folk, they can also be another source of self-criticism when we find ourselves dropping them days after they've been set. So, what's the alternative?

In this episode of SelfKind, a podcast for Highly Sensitive People, I'm sharing what I'm doing instead of making a list of resolutions for the new year. As a highly sensitive, neurodivergent woman who's kinda tired, I'm approaching this one differently by turning towards my values first.

New Year marketing can be so deeply overwhelming and shaming. Let's do it differently, yeah?

You'll hear:

🌿 Why all the new year marketing and pressure can feel like too much

🌿 How setting goals can feel suffocating for some of us

🌿 Why I choose a word for the year

🌿 How truly understanding and accepting your energy levels is vital to navigating this time

🌿 Why there's no one right way to do this and why finding YOUR way is the best way.
