What doe sit take to create a wholesome community? Can it be found in the search for sameness? as in shared economical desires/needs, intentions, goals, like-minded and like-spiritedness. Or is it within diversity? Maya speaks ….
We start to build from wherever we find ourselves, from the lowest point of human despair and work our way up… a true community cannot be comprised of only the like-minded, and privileged where the poor and trodden are used to benefit the already excessively fattened in this ambience of chemicalised serenity.
The lot of a community is in the muddled rainbow mix of poor, rich, creative, destructive, lawless and lawful. From this space alone, we can come together to build a true and wholesome community. We begin not by expelling the poor and despairing to the ghettos of “lost causes” but by influencing the “privileged” class to become more selfless and productive for the greater good of all. We help the poor to sustain themselves economically and grant them the same self-sustaining education that we deserve, not by doling out money and favors, but by inviting them into the hearth with access to organic farming, nutrition. Education.
