AHIMSA ~ THE EXPANSIVE SPACE OF STILLNESS
Maya provides insight into the expansive space of stillness necessary for healing. The Ahimsa mini meditation, which she highlights, when practiced can be immediately helpful in cultivating space for stillness via the simple act of pause, wherein we allow the mind, emotions, and uncertainty to settle. In this way, we can find ease amid chaos. In this meditative practice we do not search or expect immediate answers to a dilemma. This practice simply helps us to create spaciousness within- the widening of our inner terrain that is imperative for healing during crises. After practicing for a while, you find that the right questions will arise and that clarity exudes naturally from your mind that is poised in ease. The turbulence of thoughts, emotions, guilt, fear, and so on becomes stilled.
