*Special Prayers for Children* ! Wednesday 27 May 2020
*Children are a gift from the LORD* ; *they are a real blessing.* 4 The sons (KJV, NIV, etc. says children) a man has when he is young are like arrows in a soldier's hand. 5 Happy is the man who has many such arrows. He will never be defeated when he meets his enemies in the place of judgment. Psa 127:3-5 (GNB)
Though hand join in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but *the seed of the righteous shall be delivered* . Pro 11:21
"I myself will *teach* your people and *give* them *prosperity* and *peace* . Isa 54:13 (GNB)
Shalom beloved!
As we mark this year’s Children Day I will like to dedicate this session to pray for our children.
Children are many things to many people but suffice it to say with the words of the Psalmist, that they are a gift from God, a real blessing from the Highest God. There are many reasons to say so but chiefly because God (the bible) says so. And for those who desire to have and who are presently seeking Him for this blessing, may the LORD bless with children in Jesus name.
The seed (children) of the righteous shall be delivered (Prov. 11:21). I believe that the way though hand in hand the wicked will be punished so also though hand join in hand, they will be delivered and blessed. They shall escape the evil traps from the pit of hell to embarrass the righteous. They will also be delivered from sin, Satan, addictions, fear and whatsoever is worth being delivered from for the scriptures cannot be broken!
Our children shall be taught of the Lord (Isaiah 54:13) and we will have great peace and prosperity.
Finally, beloved, if the LORD says that children are a blessing then we better believe it and relate to them as such. Therefore, our prayers today shall cause a stirring for the manifestation of these blessings in Jesus name.
*Let us Pray:*
1. Dear LORD, thank You for the gift of righteousness that is available in Jesus, we believe, repent accept Your justification by faith;
2. Heavenly Father, I acknowledge that You are our deliverer. The Mighty Man in battle. With You even the lawful captives and preys of the terrible shall be delivered therefore our seed shall be delivered;
3. Dear LORD, according to Your Word we thank You because You are blessing and delivering our children; You are delivering them from deception and bringing them to TRUTH! From sin, to life everlasting, from fear and self-doubt to faith and confidence;
4. Dear LORD, send helpers to our children! Thank You for sending helpers their way to rescue them from all manner predators lurking around them and from every trap against them and Your plans for their lives;
5. O LORD of hosts we ask You to surround them with Your goodness and keep them in Your warm embrace! ;
6. Dear LORD please be their mentor, teach them by yourself and give them peace and prosperity according to Your words in Isaiah 54:13, let Your purpose for calling them a blessing be manifest in every home
7. Dear Lord please heal every one of our children and their friends, heal their hearts and heart diseases, heal every ailment for healing is Your children’s bread
8. Our dear Shepherd please guide the parents and provide for them, let no child die from starvation even in war torn areas of the world and the IDP camps in Nigeria;
9. Dear Lord free Leah Sharibu and other child slaves; free those held in sexual strongholds or anything that limits Your children;
10. Dear Lord, comfort all those that are waiting on You for their children. Some are waiting for the fruit of the womb, some are waiting for their healing, some are waiting for them to return home, some to return to their senses having being deceived into a wrong habit, etc. Daddy, You are the God of all comfort send Your comfort and meet them at the point of their needs in Jesus name!
11. Dear LORD, I reiterate that You have purposed to make me and my seed a blessing therefore we shall be blessed. Today we are loaded with Your benefits. We are a blessing and not a curse, we are blessers and lifters up of our cities, a blessing and dispensers of good to others, We are the seed of Abraham and the blessings of Abraham shall be ours!
12. Dear Father make me Your perfect example in all areas of life especially godliness and excellence for my children and the children around me, may they find You as they follow my example and be rewarded with You as their portion and inheritance;
