Sep 7th 2014 - If you were in NYC you could leave flowers at Joan's home, have someone take a photo of you doing it (as people love to pose at the Dakota gate where Lennon was shot) then walk up 3 blocks to the temple to "celebrity-watch" at the funeral. Unlike the Thanksgiving Day Parade with floats high in the air, you weren't going to see much, being 3 or 5 people deep, behind the barrier of professional photographers. You were not going to see Donald Trump enter or leave the synagogue. But for fans wanting to show some love for Joan, Melissa and Cooper...it had to be nice for the family to see crowds gathered from 63rd to 65th Street watching the proceedings.
