Description

Two troubled performers, getting together for some laughs. Sid Caesar would pen "Where Have I Been?" which focused on his alcoholism, and the road back in guest spots on TV and in films. Joyce Jameson, a promising NY cabaret (Billy Barnes) singer and comedian, worked with Spike Jones and Red Skelton, and was in "Tales of Terror" opposite Price and Lorre. She just didn't get the breaks of a Barbara Eden, or even Frances Langford (memorable as Blanche Bickerson). Around this time she was dating Robert Vaughn and had appeared on "Man from UNCLE." Despite her depression and insomnia, and the inevitable difficulties of middle-age in the 70's, she continued to work. She had small parts on TV and in films through 1984. She ended her life in 1987, age 54.
