BOB’S BURGERS, the 2014 Emmy Award winner for Outstanding Animated Program, returns for a well-done seventh season. The critically acclaimed series has been nominated for 6 Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Animated Program and Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance (John Roberts).
A third-generation restaurateur, BOB (H. Jon Benjamin, FAMILY GUY, “Archer”) runs Bob’s Burgers with the help of his wife and their three kids. Bob has big ideas about burgers, condiments and sides, but only a few thoughts on customer service and business management. Despite his greasy counters, lousy location and occasionally spotty service, Bob is convinced his burgers speak for themselves.
Even though business is slow, Bob gets to work with his family. His wife, LINDA (John Roberts, “The Christmas Tree,” “Jackie & Debra”), supports Bob’s dream through thick and thin (but truth be told, she’s getting a little sick of the thin). Their eldest daughter, TINA (Dan Mintz, “Important Things with Demetri Martin,” “The Andy Milonakis Show”), is a 13-year-old hopeless romantic with minimal social skills. Middle child GENE (Eugene Mirman, “Flight of the Conchords,” “Aqua Teen Hunger Force”) is an aspiring musician and a prankster who serves up more jokes than burgers. Their youngest, LOUISE (Kristen Schaal, “Flight of the Conchords,” “Modern Family”), is the most enthusiastic about her dad’s business, but an off-balance sense of humor and her elevated energy level make her somewhat of a liability in the kitchen.
In addition to Bob, the increasingly popular Belcher family includes his charming and musical wife, LINDA (John Roberts); their eldest and slightly awkward daughter, TINA (Dan Mintz); goofy and whimsical middle child, GENE (Eugene Mirman); and cunning and clever youngest daughter, LOUISE (Kristen Schaal).
Hosted by Cat Deeley and featuring Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy and Vanessa Hudgens as resident judges, SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE enters its 15th season. Highly-skilled dancers between the ages of 18 and 30 will showcase their talents in various dance styles, including contemporary, tap, hip-hop, ballroom, animation, breaking and more. Those who are selected to move on to the SYTYCD studio will work with world-renowned choreographers and compete LIVE each week for America’s votes in a variety of styles. Contestants will be eliminated weekly until a winner is named on the season finale.
