Our first episode features Azania Noah. She is an international singer-songwriter known also for her appearance on #theVoice, in France, which catapulted her music career in Europe, beyond her native New York and Switzerland.
#Azania and I met through Facebook, years ago. A gentleman in France connected us. I traveled to New York to photograph her. This was before her 2015 Paris 🇫🇷 appearance on The Voice. We had the opportunity to reconnect and I learned more about the amazing spirit and force that is Azania.
Azania, a perfectionist, faced fears and insecurities to take the stage singing to an amazing, massive audience of 9 million viewers. Fame also came with difficulty; the stage can be a lonely place. With so much going on outside, Azania had to go "inside" to reclaim her 6 year old self. At 6, Azania knew she wanted to be a singer. After The Voice, she wasn't so sure.
After reclaiming her voice, Azania encountered difficulty - she lost her voice! With intervention and determination, Azania found her Voice.
Near the end of the podcast, Azania honored us with her Voice singing #AmazingGrace. It was amazing!!! You have to hear to understand. And, for those seeking a great singer/songwriter or teacher, you can connect with Azania at Azania.com and across social media platforms.
