Rosalyn M. Gaines, a motivational speaker, ghostwriter, actor, author, filmmaker, screenwriter, playwright, artistic director, joins our host, Arlene J.M. Grant, Esq. for Episode 104: The Prolific Playwright.
Rosalyn is a well-sought-after consultant on stage presence, character development and theatrical intimacy with experience as a film executive producer, TV host, news anchor and a radio personality. A native Baltimorean, Rosalyn, a gifted writer and has written and directed more than 40 stage plays, has performance credentials in both stage and film. She reminds us of a female Tyler Perry.
Currently, Rosalyn is the creator, executive producer, screenwriter and director of a new web series titled ‘Black Oaks,’ which takes a look at old money versus new money and challenges the old adage that money solves everything! Learn more at blackoakswebseries.com.
Rosalyn holds a B.A. degree in liberal arts from the University of Maryland-Baltimore County and a M.A. degree in journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia. She is also a teacher with the Baltimore County Public School System. Lastly, Rosalyn’s book ‘Lies, Lace & Letters of Love’ will be available in bookstores in 2021.
