The feast of trumpets is our annual reminder of pivotal events in human history… but they are events that have not yet happened. It is a day that marks the end of humanity's grand experiment with self rule.
The trumpets we associated with first of the fall holy days… are war trumpets, calling troops to battle. However, the trumpets are also a proclamation of rejoicing, and victory. This is what I would like to focus on today… rejoicing.
