I can't believe I actually beat this guy on the 1st try! Don't try to go in and hit him until after he throws his lightning hammer, which is better to dodge than try to outrun. Also make sure you unlock from onto him when he does his AOE bright light attack and get ready to dodge as he does his direct lightning attack.
