Connelly also won an Olympic Silver medal at 1960 Squaw Valley Winter Games before winning Allan Cup National Championship with 1960 Chatham Maroons.
Jim was a South Porcupine native who lived in Hanover, ON as an accountant for 37 years after his playing days, before retiring to London, Ontario.
