Relationships can be are hard. We have these expectations of what the relationship should look like, and we are always disappointed. We also disappoint others when we don't meet their expectations. No matter how much effort we put into something, it never sustains or fills us like we had hoped. Then their is the Father, Jesus and Holy Spirit who alone can always meet our expectations. Still we strive for their love and acceptance when it already belongs to us, just in our being. We are imperfect people loved by a perfect God...perfectly. All the effort in the world will not change God's Love for us, He loves us completely day one! We, on the other hand get to enjoy the journey of loving Him and knowing Him more everyday.
