The Government of Saskatchewan is responding to the federal government’s national buyback program. In its new legislation, the province is proposing that owners be paid fair market value, as determined by the Saskatchewan Firearms Commissioner, by the person seizing the firearm. Evan welcomes said Saskatchewan Firearms Commissioner, Robert Freberg, to further break down the newly-introduced legislation.
