As dad's we can't ignore the shame and pride that we have in our lives. Shame and Pride are the opposite sides of the same coin... not needing God. One says I'm too good for God and don't need Him, while the other says, I'm too bad for God, there is not way for Him to accept me. As dads, we all have our share of pride and shame, which keeps us self-dependent and not God-dependent.
