Tony has become the central figure in one of New Zealand's most high-profile land rights and environmental battles, fighting for eight years against the controversial Mt Messenger Bypass. Despite facing massive court costs, financial strain, and relentless legal challenges, Tony has taken his case all the way to the Supreme Court, scoring a landmark victory.
