5月6日的这个周六，合唱团将进行今年暑假前这个演唱季的最后一场演出，是在大剧场里举行的。《当我长大时》这首歌是最后一首歌曲，意思是我们这学期结束后就要各自升级了，长大了！
这首歌有男声女声的合唱，也有独唱。这周排练的时候我们还进行了一个pk，要选出谁去领唱。团里有9个男孩报名pk，2个指导老师1个钢琴老师3个高年级的合唱团mentor他们一起做评委。我也参加了pk，第一个试唱，最终我被选中成为领唱，Yeah！
这首歌的歌词大意是，当我长大以后，我就可以爬树，可以回答出以前不会的问题，可以每天吃甜食，可以每天睡懒觉，每天看电影，因为没人管我们了。长大以后，我就可以去搬重的东西，可以去和床底爬出来的怪兽战斗。长大以后，也会发现生活其实不公平，要去面对。
