Rob Winters: [00:00:00] This is the PodOps Media Podcast, where we dive into marketing tips, tricks, and trends for entrepreneurs and small businesses. I'm your host, Rob Winters. Today's topic; Joining Your Local Business Groups.
[00:00:13] Being an entrepreneur or a small business owner can feel like an uphill battle where you're all alone. Joining local business groups can be an excellent way of meeting other like-minded people who can help keep you motivated and moving forward.
[00:00:25] Websites like MeetUp make it easy to find entrepreneur groups and some niche business groups where you can connect with other business owners. These groups are a great opportunity to bounce ideas off of other people and get feedback, share referrals, and even discover new opportunities to collaborate and expand.
[00:00:42] When possible, try to attend the in-person events these groups hold. Online is okay, but there are connections you make in person that tend to have much more long-lasting impact, and it gives you a greater opportunity to talk with multiple people one on one.
[00:00:56] Do you regularly participate in networking events or other business-focused events? Join in the conversation on this episode at PodOpsHost.com/Tips And share your thoughts.
