Description

A poem about the resilience and determination of Americans and Canadians as they face mass outages and harsh winter storms on Christmas Day. Despite the challenges and difficulties, they remain strong and united, lending a helping hand to their neighbors in need.

---

Winter storms can be a harsh and bitter force,
Bringing snow and ice with icy remorse.
But Americans and Canadians stand strong,
Despite the power outages that last so long.

The winds may howl and the temperatures drop,
But we won't let the coldness make us flop.
We'll huddle by the fire and wrap up tight,
And hope that morning brings a brighter light.

For we are a people who never give up,
We'll weather this storm and rise above.
We'll lend a hand to our neighbors in need,
And together we'll weather this winter's greed.

So let the storm rage on and bring its worst,
We'll face it head on with all that we're worth.
For we are the brave and the strong,
Americans and Canadians all life long.
