A Leitrim Councillor is calling for higher taxes on vapes.
Councillor Irene Guckian Rabbitte will bring the motion to this evenings County Council meeting.
She says used vapes are harmful to the environment and must be recycled as electrical waste.
Speaking to Ocean FM news Cllr Irene Guckian Rabbitte says Coffee cup waste should also be targeted the extra tax can be used to make positive changes.
