Emergency legislation must be introduced to fast-track the planning and delivery of housing and critical infrastructure in Sligo.
That's according to a local Cllr, who highlighted the community frustration over a lack of housing and services in the region.
It's hoped this would limit delays without removing essential parts of the process such as community input and environmental protections.
