Description

A number of weather warnings are now in operation in the North West, after Storm Floris made landfall in the early hours of this morning.

Met Éireann says there could be damaging gusts and localised flooding, particularly in the west and north-west - with hazardous driving conditions and overtopping waves along coasts.

Status yellow wind and rain alerts are in place across Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal.
