County Waterford is set to host a conference entitled "The Unique Contribution of Social Enterprises to Rural & Urban Regeneration" on Monday next at the Dunhill Multi Education Centre.

It's aimed at bringing together international and local experts to discuss how social enterprises are driving significant positive change in communities.

It will take place on Monday, August 11th, from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM.

Organised by Comhar Comaraigh Social Enterprise Network with the support of Waterford Local Enterprise Office and Waterford Area Partnership, the conference promises an insightful exploration of social enterprise's impact from global perspectives to tangible local initiatives.

"This conference is an exceptional opportunity to truly understand the transformative power of social enterprises in revitalising both our rural and urban communities," said. Eoin Morrissey from Waterford City and County Council.

"We're bringing together global leaders and local practitioners to share best practices and inspire new solutions that foster sustainable community development and economic growth"

Those interested can register for the conference here or by contacting Eoin on 087-2181709.
