It has been almost two decades since British toddler Madeleine McCann went missing in Praia da Luz, Portugal.
New searches which started this week are bringing new hopes that answers might finally be found about what happened that fateful night she disappeared - and since.
Robbyn Swann, journalist and co-author of 2014 book 'Looking for Madeleine', and participant in the eight-part 2019 series 'The Disappearance of Madeleine McCann', now lives in West Waterford, close to Villierstown.
She spoke to Damien this morning on 'Deise Today' about the new search and investigation that has been launched by German and Portuguese police in the area where Madeleine went missing.
She also about recent developments surrounding the prime suspect in the case, sharing insights on the evidence required to move forward.
