Dean Robinson, who works here at WLR, spoke to Damien yesterday (Wednesday) in studio about how his details were cloned and used to scam an unsuspecting buyer on a popular website.
Dean logged into his account on the site to see messages from a woman he had never spoken to before, claiming she had not received her 'All Together Now' tickets.
Imagine his surprise when he realised that a scammer had hacked his account and cloned his emails and social media pages!
After getting in contact with the unsuspecting buyer, he had to explain to her that she had been scammed, and from there, he started his investigation.
