A large swarm of bees was spotted - attached to a bicycle - on Barronstrand Street yesterday afternoon (Thursday).
John Cunningham, Committee Member of the 'East Waterford Beekeepers Association' spoke to Damien this morning (Friday) on 'Déise Today' after pictures and videos were widely circulated online.
John, who is based in the Kilmeaden area, shared his expertise on the natural occurrence of summer swarms, the bee reproduction process, and bee stings.
