Would you let your child have an odd 'duvet day' at home from school?
Niamh O'Reilly is a freelance writer and broadcaster and it happened to her quite by accident recently when her child, seeming too sick for school the night before, was actually perfectly fine the next morning!
However, in a piece in the 'Irish Independent' this week, she questioned whether it was a bad thing anyway to let a child have a 'duvet day' occasionally, especially given the various pressures young people are facing today!
