He’s a Claremorris native, a world-record holder, and he’s walked nearly 6,000 kilometres across Europe - completely barefoot.
Eamonn Keaveney set off from Istanbul last March and along the way broke the Guinness World Record for the longest barefoot walk, all while raising money and awareness for Friends of the Earth and Jigsaw.
He’s now back on Irish soil, on the final stretch home to Mayo, and right now he’s en route from Kerry- still shoeless, still going strong.
